Since 1999 the biggest summer event in the Philadelphia fetish scene has been the Libertine Ball, created by Passional propriatrix Kali D. Morgan. This was the 8th year of this party, and the first year that FetishMovies.com sponsored the event. Paradise Lost was the theme this year, and sinners and saints alike came out to Club Shampoo to experience the weekend's deviant delights.

For those who felt the need to shop, even when partying in their best fetish-wear, this vice could be sated at the Limbo at the Gates vendors area. There for the taking were books, chainmail jewelry and accessories, and even a vendor creating custom fangs right on the spot. After passing through Limbo, the next area was Hell. Closely monitored dungeon play stations were available for those who felt the need to be punished for their sins. Here one saw intricate rope bondage, pretty girls bent over spanking benches, others left to languish in the stockades, and still more people indulging in voyeuristic pleasures.

To experience the other side, guests ascended the Stairway to Heaven. At the top of the stairs was a professional body painter who airbrushed both men and women with designs ranging from flowers to animal stripes to flames. While nipples and genitalia must be covered by state law, as long as they are covered by paint it's within the rules. We're happy to report that there were plenty of faces, painted breasts, and butts to be seen.

For those looking for some fresh air, the smoke-free outside Garden of Earthly Delights was the place to be. Here there was a DJ spinning great dance tunes, a massage station, and best of all a hot tub. Revelers could dance their asses off, get a massage, and chill out in the hot tub under the night sky. Also, for the voyeurs in the audience, several dancers where there to tantalize and arouse them.

Performances began at midnight: the witching hour. The theme of the performances was “I'm in black light heaven”. All of the performances were presented under black light, giving an eerie and ethereal feel. To begin, three lovely gals performed a stage show featuring Delicious Corsets. The girls appeared angelic with a devilish twist. Next, Lady Whipenrod delighted the audience by flogging her victim and then appearing to slash him with her cruel blade until he bled. Luckily, the only casualty of the performance was the sheet on the stage covered in fake blood. She truly looked like as if she emerged from the wretched bowls of Hell, adorned with giant horns, red latex devil wings, and a pointy tail.

The next performance featured several nearly-nude performers who were painted to appear as if they were engulfed in flames. The added black light enhanced the illusion of flames on their lithe bodies. During their performance, a demon-masked individual lurked towards the back of the stage, madly twirling his brightly colored flags. After this Hellish display, it was perfectly fitting for the next performance to be pure and angelic. A lovely young (and quite flexible) nymph began the next segment by dancing en pointe in a Heavenly haze of smoke. She was followed by the flag twirler and a bevy of white-clad entities. Mistress Mimi Divine stood out in the performance (as she always does), appearing to have hypnotized her cross-dressing stage partner as he swooned at her feet in ecstasy. A rope bondage performance by the ladies of the Royal Castle (a Philadelphia fetish landmark) delighted the crowd. The performance entitled “Kidney Thieves” was the final one of the night. Two devious latex-clad vixens appeared to remove a rather slimy organ from the victim who was lying on the table. We don't think he knew what hit him!

A steamy July evening was made just a bit steamier with this years festivities and we can't wait until the next party!
